"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in". Matthew 25:35
Shepherd’s Arms Foundation was set up in 2004 by New Zealander Martin Lamb and his Filipina wife Amy to provide children who are poor, orphaned, or neglected with the experience of being loved, cared for and nurtured brought up with the knowledge of God’s promises for them.
A key feature of the foundation is the Children’s Home on the island of Bohol. Since its establishment, over 100 children have had their lives changed through Shepherd’s Arms Children's Home, which has a capacity for 35.
Shepherd’s Arms is registered with the Dept. of Social Welfare in the Philippines. Today Shepherd’s Arms foundation is governed by a board of seven very committed trustees located in Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines, and has resident staff to care for the children full time.
